Welcome, on behalf of the Roosevelt Elementary staff.  Through the years Roosevelt has proven to be one of the top schools in the state for children to come and learn.  The school received Gold Star status for excellence in education during the 2008-2009 and 2010-2011 school years.  Roosevelt also was recently recognized by the U.S Department of Education as a 2011 National Blue Ribbon School based on high academic performance.  This is a very prestigious award that only four other schools from the state of Missouri received.  The teachers at Roosevelt are continuously looking for ways to improve their instruction to meet the increasing demands of NCLB.  Roosevelt Elementary also has a wonderful partnership with a strong parent organization, as well as other volunteers from the community that spend much time at the school.  Working together in such a manner will help Roosevelt continue to be a great place for children to come and learn!
