Can you really believe this year is winding down so quickly!!  Just want to let you know that the FMS students have been doing an awesome job working on their MAP tests!  I commend both them and their teachers for the many hours of preparation it takes leading up to this testing period!

We are trying something new for 4th quarter progress reports.  Because so many of you have access to the parent portal and check your student’s grades almost daily, we are not sending out progress reports to all students.  We will send progress reports to students who have a C, D, or F in any class.  We are using this time period as a trial to determine if it is something that we will want to continue next year.  We think that we can save some money by using technology.  If you have computer access and have not signed up for the parent portal, please access the Farmington website (www.farmington.k12.mo.us) and follow the prompts.  As always, we will want feedback on how you like or dislike the new process!

April 24 Beta Club Induction Ceremony – 7:00 PM
April 4 – May 4 FMS Book Fair
May 1 Summer school forms due to guarantee transportation (forms sent through the mail and are available by the front office window)
May 11 Sports/activities awards – Girls – 8:30-9:00 AM; Boys – 9:45 – 10:15- held in the  FMS gym
1:45 – 2:45 – Team awards
2:45 – 3:10 – Harold Wright Award presentation
May 14 FMS Talent Show – 1:45 – FMS gym
May 15 Last day of school – EARLY OUT at 12:25
July 31 and Aug. 1  –Physicals provided by Mineral Area Hospital
August 13 First Day of MS Fall Practices
