We conducted our fall bus evacuation drills for grades K-6. Here are some pictures of students and drivers participating in the drill. The state requires us to do these twice a year in the fall and spring. This helps students understand what they need to do if we need to evacuate the bus unexpectedly. Being prepared is our goal, not having to put it in place is a blessing.

Texting while driving isn't safe for anyone, and it can be especially dangerous for teens. Crashes kill more teens than any other cause -- and texting raises the risk of a crash even more. If you have a teen driver:
- Have a "no cell phone while driving" rule. Tell your teen you expect them to pull off in a safe spot before using it.
- Be a good role model for your teen. Set a good example by following the same rules yourself.
